What is new in the latest updates

Orchid releases product updates regularly to introduce new features and to provide fixes to reported issues.

Below is a summary of the latest improvements for each module.

BIN TRACKING

Bin Tracking PU14.00 (June 2025) -

Applies to versions 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• New I/C Label report with Bins - Bin Tracking Customized Forms

• Picking sequence per item in Bin Setup defaults from ICILOC and ICITEM. See Picking Sequence in the Bin Setup screen.

• New tab in B/T Options - B/T Stock Take posting default option- See Stock Take Tab in the B/T Options screen.

• Improvements to the Bin Tracking Item and Bin Inquiry feature - Item_and_Bin_Inquiry - Field List

EFT PROCESSING

EFT Processing PU15.01 (December 2025) -

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Sundry fixes to the EFT Web Screens (requires the latest update for Extender)

EFT Processing PU15.00 (November 2025) -

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Handle larger check numbers in payroll

• New EFT formats available

EFT Processing PU14.10 (June 2025) -

Applies to versions 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Encryption of remittance advice PDF now uses QPDF.exe. This replaces PDFTK that is not supported anymore.

• {DOCLIST} in message templates now displays column headings in French if the Sage 300 user's language is French.

EXTENDER

Extender PU14.00 (November 2025)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Changes to supported versions of Python: Extender now supports Python version 3.13.5 and support for Python 3.4 is deprecated.

• Performance improvements if running multiple screen scripts on the same screen.

• Improved support of Chinese characters in Extender scripts.

Extender PU13.00 (August 2025)

Applies to versions 2025, 2024 and 2023.

This product update includes new features for Extender Workflow and improvements to the Extender Modules screen.

• Workflow Rules and Workflow View Defaults to configure workflow templates.

• New workflow actions (scripts in the workflow.vi module) to use workflow rules to determine if a record needs approval and who approves. New workflow actions for use with the Workflow Rules

• Evaluate workflow action includes additional options: Contains, In, Not In, Starts With, Ends with. Operator is now a drop-down field.

• New Extender modules including workflow templates and related messages for a range of Sage 300 applications and records. List available: Standard Workflow Modules

TeamWork released

• TeamWork module available to integrate AutoSimplyA/C Chat with Sage 300 Extender, Notes and Document Management Link.

Improvements to the Extender Modules : 

• Available Modules Tab lists Extender modules that are available in the Extender program files and can be imported. See details in Available Modules

• New activation script type. You can now add a mymodule.activation.py script to run a script before or after importing an Extender Module. Extender Activation Script

• If a module has a *.requirements.txt file, any pip modules used by that module are put into a module specific site-packages folder. You can also specify version requirements in the file. Pip modules CAN still be listed at the top of each script, but if you want specific versions then you should use requirements.txt instead.

• New VIQUEUE table to run a script on demand.

Extender PU12.19 (March 2025)

Applies to versions 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Extender script in Notes: You can use note.scrollToBottom = True for the tray to scroll to the bottom on the Notes panel.

INFORMATION MANAGER

What's New in Information Manager PU13.05 (November 2025)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Ability to import DML Users in the Info Manager license file from a prior version license file. See Upgrading to a new Sage 300 version

• Improvements to DML SharePoint integration: 

• DML uploads documents successfully even if the Documents Library in SharePoint has been renamed.

• Sharepoint 2013/2016 - if you put "https://" in the server name then you could upload files, but not open it - it tried to open "http://https://..."

• Fixes issue with Notes on non-primary monitor.

• In Notes, you can now have a file name with %20 to replace spaces, eg file://server/folder%20with%20a%20space/picture.png

• Fix some DML permission on the web s users without Notes Roles could not view the DML documents.

What's New in Information Manager PU13.01 (August 2025)

Applies to versions 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• The tray now starts quicker, especially when Sage is running from slower network drives.

• Changes to DML / SharePoint integration to support creating folders in SharePoint 2019.

• You can now configure Notes/DML on popups, even if one field is on the popup screen and another on the main screen. For example, see details Configure Documents on the P/O Receipt Screen

• Changes to the tray to check the column width and to use the visible column instead of the non-visible column. Applies to screens that have multiple grids with identical document numbers (e.g. A/R Customer Activity screen). See example in Configure Documents on the A/R Customer Activity Screen

• Report Runner - the Next Run date/time is now shown with the system date format.

• When running an Extender script in I/M Notes, you can now make the Information Manager Tray scroll to the bottom of the Notes panel. See details in the Extender help.

What's New in Information Manager PU13.00 (Dec 2024)

Applies to versions 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022.

• For all versions, DML users are now configured in the Information Manager license screen. Enable a Sage 300 user as a DML User.

• For versions 2025 and 2024 only, Web Screens are available for Notes and Document Management Link - I/M Web Screens - Notes and DML.

• Improved support for Chinese language in the Tray.exe

• Sundry fixes to I/M Options screen.

INTER-ENTITY

Inter-Entity PU14.06 (December 2025)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

Fixes issues with IET Triggers and A/R and A/P Reallocation. See IET Options > Updates tab for details.

Inter-Entity PU14.05 (August 2025) -

Applies to versions 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022.

Inter-Entity (Cash Management) - the currency exchange rate is now sent to the target bank transfer when the bank statement currency is not the home currency. What does Cash Management do?

PROCESS SCHEDULER

Process Scheduler PU12.09 (December 2025)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

When running a schedule in PS Schedules screen, Process Scheduler shows the log window while the schedule is running to provide feedback to the user. Refer to Process Scheduler Schedules for details on how to use the screen.

Process Scheduler PU12.08 (August 2025)

Applies to versions 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022.

Fixes a problem with IC Day End failing and PS not catching the error.
