Release Notes

Orchid releases product updates regularly to introduce new features and to provide fixes to reported issues.

Below is a summary of the latest improvements for each module.

BIN TRACKING

Bin Tracking PU15.02 (October 2026)

Applies to versions 2027, 2026, 2025 and 2024.

• Item and Bin Inquiry - Fixes an issue with filtering by the lot quantity <>0. Item and Bin Inquiry

• Fixes a column heading in the Bin Detail sheet when exporting Bins.

Bin Tracking PU15.01 (August 2026)

• Item and Bin Inquiry - Fixes an issue with manually added filters not reflecting in the report. Item and Bin Inquiry

Bin Tracking PU15.00 (July 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

• When printing from the Item and Bin Inquiry screen, the report now includes all the filters selected on the screen. Item and Bin Inquiry

EFT PROCESSING

EFT Processing PU15.04 (October 2026) -

Applies to versions 2027, 2026, 2025 and 2024.

Improvements

• EFT Processing Payroll: Print T4, T4A and Releve 1 compatible with the latest Canadian Payroll update

• New and updated formats in the formats.ini.

EXTENDER

Extender PU14.09 (October 2026)

Applies to versions 2027, 2026, 2025 and 2024.

• Compatibility with Sage 300 version 2027

• Fixes a Field '' is not a valid field name in the Grid Optional Field App.

Extender PU14.08 (September 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

Sundry Fixes

• The CheckBox onValueChanged event was not firing.

Extender PU14.07 (September 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

Sundry Fixes

• CheckBox controls were not visible on subclassed screens

Extender PU14.06 (September 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

Sundry Fixes

• Fixes an issue where the workflow was unassigned although the user configured in workflow rule was a valid workflow user.

• Fixes a "You're not allowed to do this" error when double clicking on a script in Extender scripts screen for a user with no rights to Edit scripts.

Extender PU14.05 (August 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

New web screens

• Extender Workflow Console and Workflow Detail Logs now available on the Sage 300 Web Screens. For details, refer to: Extender Web Screens

• Extender scripts can now run in Information Manager Notes on the Web Screens. See Information Manager Release Notes.

New Workflow Rules features

• Workflow conditions support Any Line in any entry as a View option

• Workflow conditions now support Contains, Starts with, Ends with

• Workflow view default updated to support any line / any detail

General improvements

• Security groups A to Z in Sage 300 Administrative Services can be used in scripts. The scripts can check the security group to determine if a user is allowed some functionality. Checking user security

• Improved error handling when running pip in scripts. Error message includes the Windows user it is running as, the path it is trying to write to, and where it determined that path from.

• You can add a viconfig.ini in the shared data folder. It allows people to specify the path where scripts are checked out in a text file instead of the registry. Configuring the Python Path for Script Execution

• Usability improvements to the Available modules tab in the Modules screen. Available Modules

• Changes to work with TaiRox SOX Approval.

• Sundry improvements to the standard workflow modules to support the web screens.

Developer changes

• Fiscal Period and Fiscal Year date picker (UIPeriodPicker) for Extender UI scripts.

• UI.GetControlInfo no longer requires the callback parameter. If you don't specify it then the control info is returned immediately.

• Added UI.openDataSource2. When using this instead of openDataSource, any ds* function is executed immediately instead of being queued to run after the script finishes.

• Set the environment variable VIDEPRECATED to T when developing scripts to be notified of deprecated functions.

• Fix issue importing module files that have scripts with utf-8 characters in them.

• View Events, Scripts and Workflow now displays parameter description on the grid (Scripts and Workflow Tab).

INFORMATION MANAGER

What's New in Information Manager PU13.09 (October 2026)

Applies to versions 2027, 2026, 2025 and 2024.

Compatibility with Sage 300 version 2027.

Sundry fixes

• Removes a warning message about importing DML user before saving the Information Manager Licence.

• Fixes an issue on the DML web screens when you had one configuration for files and folders and another configuration for one of the folders on the same screen.

• Fixes a tray issue when accessing the tray as a non ADMIN user.

What's New in Information Manager PU13.08 (August 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

New functionality:

• You can now run Extender Scripts in Information Manager  Notes in the Sage 300  Web Screens. Updated sample scripts ARAging, ARCreditStatus and OEIncompleteOrders. For details, refer to:, Scripts to be run in Information Manager Notes (Extended Notes)

• Open User Options button added to I/M Options > Notes/DML/Extender Tray tab. This makes navigation easier.

• Fix issue for French language users when restricting Notes and DML by Roto ID and navigating to the entry screen from the batch listing.

INTER-ENTITY

Inter-Entity PU14.08 (August 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

Improvements

• Updated Inter-Entity I/Y Options setup reports to include all screen options.

• Inter-Entity Transactions: Added validation when adding companies to Entity Database Mappings. When a company is added, the log-in credentials are now checked. This is to verify that IET can access the database and that the database exists.

Fixes

• IET Cash Management - fixed an issue where bank transfers between companies with different home currencies resulted in G/L batches that could not post because the currency rate for G/L accounts with the same currency (as target db home currency) was not being set to 1.0. IET now uses the target company home currency when doing currency comparisons as it creates bank entries in the target database.

PROCESS SCHEDULER

Process Scheduler PU13.00 (April 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

New and updated actions in Process Scheduler Level 3: 

• Create G/L New Year. G/L Create New Year

• Open a specific fiscal year and fiscal period. Close/Open Module Fiscal Year / Period

• Close a specific fiscal year and fiscal period.

• Process Scheduler Schedules report updated to support the latest actions. Process Scheduler Print Schedules

• Run Financial Report Group action can be run for a specific fiscal year and period. Refer to Run Financial Report (PS Level 3)

• Requires data activation to upgrade the Run Financial Report Group configuration.
