What is new in the latest updates

Orchid releases product updates regularly to introduce new features and to provide fixes to reported issues.

Below is a summary of the latest improvements for each module.

BIN TRACKING

Bin Tracking PU14.03 (March 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Adds a "Refresh from Source Document" to the menu in Bin Transfer. Refresh from Source Document

• Bin Tracking Inquiry screen now includes a like filter. Item and Bin Inquiry

• Performance improvements on the Bin Inquiry screen in certain circumstances.

Bin Tracking PU14.01 (December 2025) -

Applies to versions 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Fix issue with Item and Bin Inquiry screen showing all lot numbers.

EFT PROCESSING

EFT Processing PU15.02 (March 2026) -

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

• All NACHA formats in the formats.ini file updated to support NACHA rules change effective 20 March 2026. Standard description is now PURCHASE for AP and PAYROLL for Payroll.

• When uploading the EFT file with SFTP, SFTP library updated to support RSA-SHA2 as SSH-RSA is now deprecated

• T4A section added in the ELRPT.ini file to enhance printing of T4A reports.

EFT Processing PU15.01 (December 2025) -

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Sundry fixes to the EFT Web Screens (requires the latest update for Extender)

EFT Processing PU15.00 (November 2025) -

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Handle larger check numbers in payroll

EXTENDER

Extender PU14.04 (March 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Fixes a problem in Extender script path introduced in PU14.03.

Extender PU14.03 (March 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Fixes Tab Mismatch issue with multiple Tabs in UI scripts. Use PU14.04

Extender PU14.02 (February 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Fixes issues with the Modules screen.

Extender PU14.01 (February 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

• Ability to run an Extender script from the command line. For details, see Running a script with run.exe

• Improved support of Chinese characters in Extender scripts.

Extender PU14.00 (November 2025)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Changes to supported versions of Python: Extender now supports Python version 3.13.5 and support for Python 3.4 is deprecated.

• Performance improvements if running multiple screen scripts on the same screen.

• Improved support of Chinese characters in Extender scripts.

Extender PU13.00 (August 2025)

Applies to versions 2025, 2024 and 2023.

This product update includes new features for Extender Workflow and improvements to the Extender Modules screen.

TeamWork released

• TeamWork module available to integrate AutoSimplyA/C Chat with Sage 300 Extender, Notes and Document Management Link.

• TeamWork: Key Features

Workflow Rules released and other workflow improvements

• Workflow Rules and Workflow View Defaults to configure workflow templates.

• New workflow actions (scripts in the workflow.vi module) to use workflow rules to determine if a record needs approval and who approves. New workflow actions for use with the Workflow Rules

• Evaluate workflow action includes additional options: Contains, In, Not In, Starts With, Ends with. Operator is now a drop-down field.

• New Extender modules including workflow templates and related messages for a range of Sage 300 applications and records. List available: Standard Workflow Modules

Improvements to the Extender Modules : 

• Available Modules Tab lists Extender modules that are available in the Extender program files and can be imported. See details in Available Modules

• New activation script type. You can now add a mymodule.activation.py script to run a script before or after importing an Extender Module. Extender Activation Script

• If a module has a *.requirements.txt file, any pip modules used by that module are put into a module specific site-packages folder. You can also specify version requirements in the file. Pip modules CAN still be listed at the top of each script, but if you want specific versions then you should use requirements.txt instead.

• New VIQUEUE table to run a script on demand.

INFORMATION MANAGER

What's New in Information Manager PU13.07 (April 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

• When you use Process Scheduler to schedule Financial Reports, you can select a specific fiscal year and group. Requires Process Scheduler PU13.00 and later. Refer to Run Financial Report (PS Level 3)

• Notes and Document Management Link now support AVB macros that include a Sage 300 screen.

• You can now open log files for the tray and SharePoint from the tray (if logging is configured in the registry). Troubleshooting Information Manager Tray

• Deprecation of basic authentication in SharePoint Online. Document Management Link supports Interactive logon. Leave the SharePoint details blank in the tray and DML will prompt users to logon in their browser. For details, refer to: Configuring DML with SharePoint Online

What's New in Information Manager PU13.06 (January 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

• Fixes issues where the Web Tray Tab didn't appear in I/M Options in some cases.

• Notes in web screens are now faster in large databases.

What's New in Information Manager PU13.05 (November 2025)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

• Ability to import DML Users in the Info Manager license file from a prior version license file. See Upgrading to a new Sage 300 version

• Improvements to DML SharePoint integration: 

• DML uploads documents successfully even if the Documents Library in SharePoint has been renamed.

• Sharepoint 2013/2016 - if you put "https://" in the server name then you could upload files, but not open it - it tried to open "http://https://..."

• Fixes issue with Notes on non-primary monitor.

• In Notes, you can now have a file name with %20 to replace spaces, eg file://server/folder%20with%20a%20space/picture.png

• Fix some DML permission on the web s users without Notes Roles could not view the DML documents.

INTER-ENTITY

Inter-Entity PU14.07 (January 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

Fixes issues on the IET G/L Triggers setup screen where the finder didn't connect correctly to the target database. See IET Options > Updates tab for details.

Inter-Entity PU14.06 (December 2025)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

Fixes issues with IET Triggers and A/R and A/P Reallocation. See IET Options > Updates tab for details.

PROCESS SCHEDULER

Process Scheduler PU13.00 (April 2026)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025 and 2024.

New and updated actions in Process Scheduler Level 3: 

• Create G/L New Year. G/L Create New Year

• Open a specific fiscal year and fiscal period. Close/Open Module Fiscal Year / Period

• Close a specific fiscal year and fiscal period.

• Process Scheduler Schedules report updated to support the latest actions. Process Scheduler Print Schedules

• Run Financial Report Group action can be run for a specific fiscal year and group. Refer to Run Financial Report (PS Level 3)

• Requires data activation to upgrade the Run Financial Report Group configuration.

Process Scheduler PU12.10 (December 2025)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

Update the Close/Open period for single module. Refer to Level 3 - Advanced Process Scheduler

Process Scheduler PU12.09 (December 2025)

Applies to versions 2026, 2025, 2024 and 2023.

When running a schedule in PS Schedules screen, Process Scheduler shows the log window while the schedule is running to provide feedback to the user. Refer to Process Scheduler Schedules for details on how to use the screen.
