EFT language overview

EFT Processing for Sage Intacct supports English and French language preferences.

• Installation XML controls the menu language (regardless of the user's language).

• The user's language preference in Sage Intacct controls field labels and messages.

  • If a user's language preference is set to English, all field labels and messages will be in English.

  • If a user's language preference is set to French, all field labels and messages will be in French.

• EFT format controls field labels on vendor, customer and employee Orchid EFT tabs.

   

Installation language & menu language

There are two installation XML files available on the Orchid website. You only need to install one of the XML files.

The Orchid EFT menus are in the language of the installation program, regardless of the user's language preference.

• To have the menus in English, install the English XML file.

• To have the menus in French, install the French XML file.

EFT Formats & Field Labels

Field labels on EFT Banks and the Vendor / Customer / Employee Orchid EFT Tab are set in the EFT Format and not translated based on the user's language preference.
