Logging:

EFT Processing includes extensive logging features out of the box (Logging details of EFT Files created, logging of changes to EFT Vendors, Customers and Employees.

With Extender (Configurator and Developer Editions), you can also configure logging of other records in EFT Processing, e.g. EFT Options and EFT Banks .

Alerts & Approval:

You can use Extender to expand on the security features of EFT Processing to support the approval of EFT record changes.

You can use Extender Developer Edition and custom scripts to configure approval around the "Create EFT File" processes.

Automation:

You can use Extender Developer Edition and custom scripts to automate the "Create EFT File" processes or to copy EFT Vendors / Customer details from one Sage 300 database to another.

Security

EFT Processing doesn't encrypt the bank file out of the box. If the bank provides an encryption program to use (for example PGP Encryption), you can use Extender Developer and a custom script to call the encryption program for each EFT File created, and then the encrypted file can be sent to the bank.

EFT Processing includes a superview to facilitate customization of the Create EFT Process using Extender Developer.
