Print Workflow History Log Report

Open Extender > Extender Reports > Workflow History Logs.

Select the default report or Browse to find a custom report.

Tip:

Extender includes one default report VIWFHistLog.rpt. You can duplicate the report, rename it and use Crystal Reports to create your own report.

Make sure it includes the same parameters as the default report if you want to run it from the Extender screen.

How to use

A workflow is set to "Completed" if the Next Step is blank.

To find the final approver - Look at the User column.

Next user is set the last Assigned to user, even though NextStep is blank.

Report Parameters

From and To Workflow ID: used to identify the range of Workflow templates to include on the report.

From Step/To Step: Enter Steps to filter by in the report. Refer to the workflow template for the step name.

Filter by Step refer to the "Step Name" as per the Workflow Detail Log Inquiry screen.

From Date/ To: field to identify the range of events to be included on the report

From User /To: to restrict the range of events to a single user. If left blank, all users will be included on the report

From Record Key / To: Enter the Key fields you need the report to filter by. Refer to the Inquiries > Workflow Summary Log

Show Details: 

Select Yes to include all steps that the workflow instances have been through.

Select No: The report will only include one row per workflow instance, including the latest step and status.

Note:

If the report "Show Details" is set to "Yes", the User refer to the user who performed the workflow step and the date is the date/time when the workflow step was performed.

If the report "Show Details" is set to "No", the user refers to the user who started the workflow and the date is the date the workflow was started.
